Starting in 1975, Festival Hire has grown from a small-scale operation into an award-winning provider of innovative event solutions for South Australia.

Led by Director Shane Pope, Festival Hire employs a team of over 50 dedicated employees. We operate from a large warehouse in Underdale and expanded our reach in 2024 with the acquisition of Barossa Function Hire, establishing a presence in the Barossa Valley through our Nuriootpa warehouse.

Shane’s passion for the events industry is evident, and you’ll regularly see him onsite working with the team. When asked why he loves working in events, he responded, “it’s amazing to be able to create something from the ground up that will most likely never be seen again, but will stay in someones memories forever”.
