Description of the event:

The Bridgestone World Solar Challenge is a biennial 3,000 km race from Darwin to Adelaide where student-built solar cars compete in speed, efficiency, and innovation. Since 1987, it has showcased renewable energy and engineering excellence on a global stage.

How Festival assisted:

For Bridgestone, we delivered a fully customised 15 x 10m marquee, designed and managed by Lumino Events. Built on hoecker flooring with bespoke wall panels and a striking printed gable, the structure was tailored to create a premium display environment. The floor was finished with carpet for a polished look, while large integrated TV screens were seamlessly installed into the walling to enhance the visitor experience. At the centre of it all, the marquee housed the winning car of the event, providing a showcase that combined functionality, precision, and standout presentation.
