Who are we?

Starting in 1975, Festival Hire has grown from a small-scale operation into an award-winning provider of event hire solutions for South Australia.

Under the leadership of Director Shane Pope, Festival Hire employs a team of over 50 employees. They operate from a large warehouse in Underdale and expanded their reach in 2024 with the acquisition of Barossa Function Hire, establishing a presence in the Barossa through their Nuriootpa warehouse.

Shane’s passion for the events industry is evident, and he is regularly seen onsite working with the team. When asked why he loves working in events, he responded, “it’s amazing to be able to create something from the ground up that will most likely never be seen again, but will stay in someone’s memories forever”.
