FAQ's

Absolutely, and we highly recommend coming out to your site. Although we frequent many venues throughout South Australia, sometimes we come across sites we have not been to before.

We are happy to visit your site free of charge.

We can either peg or weight our marquees, depending on your site’s surface and accessibility.

Safety is our top priority, so ensuring our marquees are correctly pegged or weighted is crucial. We strictly adhere to the Hire & Rental Industry Association’s (HRIA) standards for securing our marquees. Our team are happy to conduct a site inspection to determine the site and advise accordingly.

Please ensure to give accurate information regarding buried pipes and electrical cables as we cannot be held accountable for damages if you do not give us the correct location of these services.

One thing to consider is if the marquee is in direct sunlight during the middle of a hot day, it acts just like a greenhouse. Flowers can wither, candles can melt – so please take this into account when booking your marquee. Depending on your budget, fans and cooling can be added to your marquee.

We recommend a clear marquee for evening events and cooler weather months of the year.

The easiest calculation to determine the best size marquee size for your event is:

  • Seated Seminars or Presentations: Calculate approximately 0.5-0.75 square metres per guest.
  • Networking or Standing events: Around 0.5 – 0.75 sqm per guest is often sufficient.
  • Weddings:
    • Seated dinner: Allow 1 – 1.5 sqm per guest.
    • Cocktail function: 1 sqm per guest is usually enough.

Remember to consider your décor and furniture needs, space for entertainment, dance floors and bars, the site size, seating arrangements and event type.

We have a bad weather policy in place, and our director will be in touch if it looks as though the marquee would not be safe to use (eg. extreme gale-force winds). The guidelines form part of our terms and conditions of hire. In an emergency, call 000 if required, ensure everyone is safe, and contact our emergency number on 0410 605 527.

Yes, we can supply safe heating and cooling options for our marquees. Gas heaters are not safe for use inside a marquee, we recommend these for outside use only. Visit our Outdoor page to find out more.

That really depends on the size required! For example, a 200sqm marquee would take our team around 7 hours to install, depending on location and environmental factors. It’s best to call our team to discuss, if you have a tight turnaround.

Sorry, no this is not possible. Our marquees are engineered structures which require installation and dismantling by our highly experienced crew.

Yes, we have a range of flooring options to suit our marquees. These range from plastic roll out, to natural timber panels.
